On Friday, March 28 - Saturday, March 29, 2014, 300+ Dentists, Dental Specialists, Registered Dental Hygienists, and Physicians along with 1000+ support volunteers are needed to help treat between 1600-2000 patients! Please join the Florida Dental Association for the first FLA Mission of Mercy (FLAMOM) event being held at the Special Events Pavilion of the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Fl. Mission of Mercy events provide free dental services to the underserved, uninsured and low-income individuals across the United States.Go to flamom.floridadental.org to register as a volunteer.
Give Kids a Smile - Pinellas County

National Give Kids A Smile!® is an annual one-day volunteer event that provides education, preventive and restorative services to children from low-income families. This is a no cost dental event to children and teens between the age of 4-17. Participating locations are Pinellas Health Department, Christina Vongsyprasom Call 727-524-4410 for more information.
Give Kids a Smile that took place on February 6, 2015 was a very successful event. Children were served in three clinics. St. Pete, Pinellas Park and Clearwater. Combined, the even provided services to 154 children. These children were also given the opportunity to schedule a follow-up treatment visit at no charge as part of the event. |
